300% markup if fine. That's normal. But saying there's a 3.5% card fee and then charging 10.67% card fee and hiding it inside the cost of the product is deceitful on two accounts. Never coming back back. Telling everyone about this experience whenever the topic of milkshakes come up, and going to post my receipt all over the internet so people can laugh at me buying a quart size milkshake and being charged nearly 11% service fee for using a card.

We stopped by The Yard Milkshake Bar in Austin and tried the strawberry cheesecake milkshake, the mango ice cream (with real mango pieces, which was lovely), and my son went for the cotton candy ice cream. The shakes are definitely fun and over-the-top, perfect for the experience. The space itself is a bit cramped with limited seating, and while the ice cream tastes about the same as other shops, the price is definitely higher.
