Great recommendations, great prices – Probably one of the best wine stores in Manhattan. Great bottles, great recommendations based on your input. There's always something good here for any budget, and for those with budget, always something here for any mood or curiosity. Though I have lived in different neighborhoods in the last 10 years, this is one of my favorite wine stores and worth the travel time and effort. For recommendations, ask for Joe.
Wide Selection/great prices and fantastic service – This is a fantastic store. They have a wide selection of wines from around the world at all different price points and the service is the best I have seen in any similar store throughout NYC
The Best – This shop is great with deliveries for home or gifts. They determine the perfect wine for me from my most pathetic descriptions. They're close to home for me, but I'm sure I'd go downtown to find them if I had to.
Mister Wright's is the Best!! – My Wife and I have always loved MWs! They have excellent service with a smile, and their staff have a great ability to select wonderful wines from any country, and any occassion (and any budget - without an attitude). We recently moved to Harlem (about 40 blocks away) and they have no problem delivering without some silly delivery charge (no matter how many or few you order!)!! How great is that??? Great local wine shop – Mister Wright has an especially good selection of Australian wines, and the staff suggestions are always spot on. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
