ANOTHER EDIT: Nuvance had been terrible. Seems improved with this Northwell (so far). Our recent trip there was excellent. If you have special needs talk with Elena in advance. For instance, my dad has spinal stenosis and can't be in certain positions. Let them know in advance and be vocal about your needs. I've been going to this wound care center for over a year and am very impressed with their care. I had been treated at another wound care prior and this is by far better. They think outside the box and are gentle and respectful. I hope you never need wound care but if you do I'd recommend these folks highly.
The nurses are top notch! They are kind, skilled and knowledgeable. The doctors are great too. I traveled 2.5 hours each way for 13 months trying to get my autoimmune related leg ulcers to heal. After a late stage flare up when they were almost healed I was given a high dose of Prednisone and the wounds/ulcers finally healed. The clinic is affiliated with the hospital and the co- insurance for visits/surgeries is considered a hospital outpatient visit. These guys gave me hope, when I had lost all hope to heal a wound on my leg the pain was so horrible and the wound was massive, I truly believed I was going to lose my leg, but they never gave up and the kindness and care they showed me was amazing and now my leg is so much better, wonderful team, they are truly a great group of people
