There are not enough stars to accuratley represent The Woods & Miss Desiree!! No one could be more protective of their "baby" than me over my Dachshund, Harbour. He does not ever want to be away from me UNLESS it is with his girlfriend, Miss Desiree! We are moving to Florida this weekend and I already have him booked...yes, I will drive eight hours to stay here. Look no further for a place for your baby... She truly is the Dog Whisperer! We love you Miss D
My pups love this place! Theyre a bit shy and reserved and the staff here caters to and understands that. They always welcome them warmly and with a smile! It doesn't make leaving them so hard when I know they're in such good hands. The facility is the cleanest ive ever experienced and the sound proofing in their "room" eases my older dogs anxiety.
I never planned on boarding Finn. I trust very little people with my sweet boy. We ended up having to board him while we went on our honeymoon. I was EXTREMELY nervous to start off with, but I can tell you that quickly dissolved. After seeing videos of him every day and getting texts from Desiree, I knew he was in good hands. He was constantly running around and playing in every video. My husband and I could tell he was very disappointed to be home from his "vacation." He's ready to pack his bags again.

Our dog stayed at The Woods for four nights while we were traveling in the area from out of town. Desiree and the staff really care about dogs and work hard to make sure your pet has a safe, comfortable, and fun stay. The dogs play outside in a large wooded and grassy yard during the day and spend the night in their own rooms. It is the best!
Desiree, Mark and their staff have been wonderful. Not only has she taken care of Boudreaux, she has personally taken time with him and sent us photos and videos. Could not be more pleased!
