The poor older homes that elderly people live have been dealing with this for 20 years ! How sad is this? Ask your sales person or the office for verification. I totally agree, awfully overpriced lot rent. And god help you when a bad neighbor moved in for sure! I have at least 20 kids ALL year round now playing basketball out in front of my place in the street, balls slamming into my car and house. I cant even sit out and quietly enjoy my yard, I bought my place, kids run through the yard like its theirs! Parents don't care. Let their kids out from morning to night.. I lived here for 18 years. Having lived in a house, apartment, military housing and a mobile home (it used to be called Leisure Acres; the last 2 years I lived there management changed to The Woodlands), this was hands down the best place I have lived so far. I'm not saying it's flawless, but it was not infested with bugs, and household repairs only needed to be made about as often as you'd expect - once a year, from what I can remember. terribly overpriced lot rent, Set now at almost 450 mth. for lot rent alone, then you pay water on top of that. Rent goes up every year at least $20,, they don't mention that when you move in. Totally not worth it, nice homes brand new but they fall apart FAST! .. better off paying a mortgage somwhere. God help you when a bad neighbor moves in, makes your life a living nightmare. Look elswhere to live.
