Before my facial started I was being told I needed two additional treatments that would cost more money. When I asked what included in my facial she told me, but stated I really needed the additional treatment for $45 and $35. I’ve never had that happen before and it made the experience feel more about sales than just the relaxing facial I came for. I felt rushed and annoyed rather than relaxed.
I visited Woodhouse Spa Walnut Creek on Sunday, July 19, with a friend. I had a facial, and my friend had a massage that I had purchased as a birthday gift using an online gift card that I purchased in October of last year. This was one of the best massages I have ever had. My masseuse, Debra, listened to me and gave me the massage of my dreams. The spa itself is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The treatments are a bit pricey but it’s a great gift to give someone special!
They will cut corners on treatments and their customer service solution is to suggest you pay for another session. If you book a 50 minute massage, you will be getting 30-35 minutes of massage. The time starts from when they meet you at the waiting room. You walk down a hallway, they wait for you to undress, then they come in and arrange the room and prepare your service.
