I have been going to this place a few years now and the receptionist team never fails to disappoint. I have not once had an easy time making an appointment, and have waited on calls for up to 45 minutes just to be disconnected or hung up on. I did not receive care here. I am a man who was picking up a friend of mine. While waiting in the waiting room, I walked to the trash that was stowed away near the entrance to the backroom to throw my drink away and was approached aggressively by a nurse who asked me if I was there to receive services (reminder that this is a women's health center). I have seen a couple Doctors with this group. Everyone in the office cares and is so professional/kind! I was going to Brigham and Women's and ended up at the ER with a miscarriage. I called the on call and didnt get a call back. They didnt get back to me until the next day! I called South Shore Women's group. Not only did I get to speak with a nurse but they got me a appointment same day! Everyone was so sweet with helping me navigate through the loss. They helped me with my third pregnancy, the midwifes were great. And the lab folks were very patient with me being a fainter
I am trying hard to switch to a new practice. The gyno I saw for over a year was awful. Didn’t care about me or my concerns just wanted to check her boxes and send me on my way as fast as she could. The phone representative are also incredible rude. You ask a simple question and they act like you have no common sense. Additionally they have no weekend or late hour visits so for someone who works Monday - Friday 7am-4pm it makes getting an appointment impossible unless I want to use PTO.
