My cut was not approached correctly which led to subsequent bald patches. Upon raising my concern, I was met with a lack of understanding and accountability that will lead to me no longer getting my hair cut here. Unfortunate timing given the fact that I had a tight turnaround for a work trip the next day.

So Zayra isn’t great just because she can do fades, tapers, or whatever you want well; she’s great because she can cut hair, too! My hair can be a complicated cut because of my hair type (coarse + curly), but she handles it perfectly every time. It’s hard to find someone that understands what your hair needs, provides you with tips on how to manage it, cut it well consistently, and always make the sides however you want. As long as she’s around in Houston, she will be my go to!

Zyra is great! She’s always punctual and great at her job. I have curly hair that’s difficult to cut and Zyra does an amazing job every month! I’m a regular and I followed Zyra when she started her own business. Zyra is very detail orientated and listens to what her clients want. I highly recommend!
