Lovely spot but the breakfast food is awful. $25+ each for all 4 of our main meals and they all under delivered. Nice room but insanely overpriced. We only went for breakfast and would never go back. $9 for orange juice is highway robbery
Attended afternoon tea with friends. Everything was amazing. We did the traditional menu but there are also gluten-free, vegan, and child-friendly options.
Just awesome to be at the American Club. Breakfast was great every day for 5 days. Had a great dinner here too. A big old classic ballroom style dining room. Not too fancy, not to formal. But upscale. Maybe too bright for dinner, but otherwise nice. (note to management, try darker room at night with candles or a chill vibe.)
I had a really enjoyable dinner here tonight. The restaurant might have had some quality issues a few months ago, but I found my steak to be incredibly tender and cooked exactly the way that I asked it to be. The presentation of the steak and potatoes in steel pans was a bit sterile for my taste. Hannah did a wonderful job as my server
