RATS RATS AND MORE RATS !!. If you like living with giant rats please move to the winsted..🤢🤢🤢 And I do mean literal rats like the kind that carry disease and bed bugs. . If you notice all the maintenance people wear long sleeve shirts and pants even in the hottest parts of the summer. This is because the rat and mouse infestation brings bed bugs and fleas.. I didn't want to waste my time writing a review for this society but I want to help others from making a wrong decision. When I moved to this apartment in 2023, on the very first day I was surrounded by cockroaches and rats (I still have the photos and videos). The whole kitchen was dirty with spices and cockroaches were roaming around. All the appliances are old fashioned, they never agree to change anything, always looking for some workaround. Just moved in. The air conditioner stopped working six days ago and despite my calls and messages, nothing seems to be getting done and I'm completely in the dark. They did put a very noisy old portable unit in the bedroom, but the rest of the apartment is still unlivable...
1. Booked the apartment and cancelled due to reviews and feedback from friends who stayed there 2. Really concerned about the rats & cockroaches 3. Apartment is very old and need to be renovated for sure . Most of the apartments in Irving area is already renovated 4. EDIT (July 2024) - The maintenance is improving. The manager (Elizabeth) personally called and visited the apartment to understand all the issues. She called again after the maintenance requests were closed. Updating the rating to 3 stars. Original review - I moved into this apartment in March 2024. Despite the age of the apartments, they are spacious and pleasant. Front office staff is very helpful. Paige from the front office helped me a lot during the lease signing process.
