The menu had some interesting options, but not as many you’d expect from a “wine bar”. I could live with that, I wanted to try the food and check out the experience. Unfortunately, the dish I ordered was too salty. I could only eat half, and it took a good half-an-hour to get rid of the aftertaste. This is a must stop if you're in NOLA! I think I'd eat here weekly if I lived there. The vibe, the food, the service.... phenomenal!
Truly excellent food and wine program, but really need to call out the attentive and top notch service from Pat and George. It was a pleasure to dine here twice in short trip we made to New Orleans. I will certainly be back!
Arrived late on a Friday night and were so surprised to find such an outstanding meal available when so many other restaurants we’d tried had closed their kitchens. We never felt rushed despite being the last table there and all the food was outstanding with dessert as the standout (shoutout to the coffee pot you get when you order coffee)
My wife and I felt ignored, with slow service from the first drink throughout the whole meal. Food quality was superb when it arrived, but the overall Emeril brand is severely weakened when no manager checked on us, when simple orders took overly long amounts of time in uncrowded rooms, when an order misses a major entree and no recognition is given. We’re proud for the city of the accomplishments of the chef, but the brand will suffer if the attached wine bar fails to deliver to customers when management is apparently MIA.
