Absolute perfection. We were a little hesitant to come here after our hotel was unable to secure a reservation at Emeril’s, but I’m so glad we ignored the Google rating and got to enjoy a wonderful dinner in a chill and laid back atmosphere. The service was great, and after having a few tasting menus, it was nice to enjoy a more relaxed dinner. Everything we ordered was excellent, and we had a great time. We’d happily come back.
My favorite cocktails on our new Orleans trip. Unbelievable balance of flavors and so unique. I was really excited to try Emeril's version of barbecue shrimp, I've been a fan since I was a kid, and they truly lived up to my expectations. I really want to try the tasting menu in the main dining room, hopefully next trip.
I’ll be honest… I had mild expectations going into this but upon arrival I knew we were in for an excellent experience. The service, the drinks and the food were INCREDIBLE. Loved the more laid back but still elevated atmosphere. You can tell a lot of thought and care were put into this space/menu/experience. My wife & I were in NOLA for the 4th time and the gumbo is the best we’ve EVER had. We talked about it our entire trip. Fantastic experience and cannot wait to return. French 75 was amazing as well (they use cognac!)
The menu had some interesting options, but not as many you’d expect from a “wine bar”. I could live with that, I wanted to try the food and check out the experience. Unfortunately, the dish I ordered was too salty. I could only eat half, and it took a good half-an-hour to get rid of the aftertaste. This is a must stop if you're in NOLA! I think I'd eat here weekly if I lived there. The vibe, the food, the service.... phenomenal!
