RecommendedA week ago my “other daughter” and I were looking for a memory care facility for her sweet mom/my dear friend. We were feeling a little defeated due to covid-19, ridiculously expensive home health care and horror stories. The minute we walked into The Montecito ~ the lights went on! The management, staff and services are far more than impressive; it’s sincere. That night I slept better than I have in months, knowing we found a “family”, not a facility. Our lovely lady will thrive and have a wonderful life.
RecommendedI know that I am safe here, despite the Covid 19 pandemic, because management and staff care deeply and take excellent care of us all the time.
Bad place they only care about money when covid hit they wanted to keep the patients dying there so it didn’t get to the state and become public when in reality the residents needed to go to the hospital that’s why so many passed away people had to call 911 in secret then staff would get mad don’t put your family there and don’t work there bad environment all the other staff saying good stuff they are just told to do that so they look good im a past coworker and I did not like it worked there for over a year and it’s a toxic... read more

My Mom moved to the Quarry in mid-December after being in the hospital and no longer able to live independently. She had Parkinson’s so was in the ‘ridge’ at The Quarry, a higher level care section. They tout a specialty for Parkinson’s, but I didn’t see anything other than a general exercise class and a support group supporting it.
