A good friend of mine was a patient at Whittier Pavilion. One day he had to be restrained. He was slammed to the floor and a mental health counselor put his neck in a head lock until the point in which he couldn't breath. He was sedated and had carmed down. My friend was able to walk , yet he was dragged down the hall like a bag of trash. Upon being sent to the quiet room he was slammed on to the table and the straps on his hands and ankles were so tight that they cut off the circulation.
