Whether you are in a small group or large group, this fine restaurant is definitely worth the drive. Located in the small town of Metamora, MI, this historic restaurant reopened several years ago. The new owners have taken great care to keep the history alive while providing current customers a classic menu of items with many tasty choices to select for a their unique dining pleasure. we were there with a large group. the waitress handled it timely. menu has a great variety of foods & prices. atmosphere is a plus too. unique & fun. Oh & the walleye was excellent! definitely going back

Ordered meatloaf: ends were burned which caused loaf to be very dry, chef tried to smother in a thick and terrible tasting mushroom gravy, then served with grey colored, tasteless mashed potato. Menu changed, trout spread replaced with yucky meat, cheese and super vinegary pickles tray. It's a shame, the atmosphere is nice, the food is terrible. Wedge salad's dressing and blue cheese was flavorless. How can you screw up a wedge salad? They should just serve the candied bacon.
