My wife and I used to live in Quincy and would go the the WHD often. Now we go whenever we happen to be in town and it’s always well worth it. I’ve never had anything from here that is not delicious. Their pastrami melt is, in my opinion, the best pastrami sandwich you can get. Go there during the week when there’s less of a wait. Though even at 10am on a Saturday you’ll only wait 15 minutes or so.
My first visit. Generous portions and delicious food - the corned beef hash obviously home made. The waitress was delightful. I'd give five stars but the coffee was only ok. Maybe it's the local water. Oh, if you have a "large frame", grab a stool; the booths are not for you...
