It truly is the best clam chowder. I loved the asparagus fries and my prawn basket. Each prawn is three bites.. Huge and delicious.
Its the best sea food i ever tried so differemt and juicy and so fresh i love the food�
Hubby and I had lunch here yesterday. This was our second visit to The Wharf. We started with the Poke which was delicious! He had the Oyster PoBoy with fries which he liked alot and I tasted and felt it was very good and very rich!. I had some awesome Fish Tacos, which tasted very fresh with Cod, fresh salsa and cabbage on them. I would probably ask for some secret sauce though. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is very relaxed, similar to the old Buzz's Crabshack in Redding. Prices are good. I recommend!!
Sadly enough prices are higher portion sizes are smaller and that's not worth the wait or the service I will miss the fresh seafood but I guess it's easier and cheaper to go to the coast and get it yourself.
My lobster fettuccine was so rich, creamy,delicious and bursting with flavor(and had leftovers today for breakfast-super yummy!) I also was blessed to get Heathers daughters leftover garlic red potato mashers, veggies and steak-BEST garlic mashers ever-little bits of garlic in every bite!!! Wasn't too busy and our server was very efficient! Will be back soon!
Crab cakes room temp, wasn't served with ordered fries, husband's ordered fried oysters got scallops, sent back. My French fries served just ahead of his oysters. They had previously been my favorite seafood place but now McGrath's serves better crab cakes, hot & their service is great.
