This is not a hockey friendly hotel. The employees at the front desk and bar were extremely nice and kind. Meghan who manages the contact with hockey teams and the rooms was unkind. She was not easy to work with and continued to upcharge us on the conference room even after we cleaned up after ourselves. She first quoted us $250 for the room and then $350 and finally settling on $500 (she said it was to ensure the room got cleaned but we also had to clean up after ourselves). Good stay all around but surprised there was no upgrade for a Platinum Elite Bonvoy member and my room had a single set of bath towels, not 2 or 3.
Our rooms had no water the last day. Toilets weren't flushing and water coming out of the sink was brown and we were not compensated for the inconvenience.
Typical hotel that has room service that is a ripoff. You have to pay a service fee ($8.14) plus a delivery fee ($10.00) and are still asked to pay a tip. This is all on top of their high food costs. My meal was $37, so these extra charges ($24) were nearly 66% of the cost of my food, PATHETIC. Another company just trying to squeeze us consumers until our last $.05.
