Great little place in Maryville. Terrific food. Went for lunch so no cocktails. Farm to table. Enjoyed Turkey Applewood sandwich with onion rings. Great blend of flavors including apple butter. Delicious and very filling. Friend Android a chicken Hoagie kind of sandwich with homemade ranch. Can't wait to go back.

Came here with some out of town guests as a celebratory meal. Staff was knowledgeable, cordial patient and attentive. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their dish.
This was my first visit to The Walnut Kitchen and I had only heard wonderful things, but what a disappointment. We had a 6:30pm confirmed reservation and when arriving we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated despite there being multiple tables empty clearly visible. The check-in/welcome stand seemed very unorganized. Once seated, we were placed right near the kitchen which was very noisy and the ambiance was not great.
