The lovely lady receptionist that helped my significant other & I check in for our stay was very kind and bubbly. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable...There are a few small reasons why I am only rating this hotel 3/5. They have two elevators and only one was working, so many times during our stay, we had to cram ourselves into an elevator with many other people. The hotel was conveniently located near the attraction I was attending, which made getting around very easy. One of the highlights was the included hot breakfast, which featured pancakes, eggs, and sausage or bacon. However, on my last day, the hot breakfast was unavailable. It seemed like the breakfast staff may not have shown up, and both another guest and I were unable to get the hot breakfast. This hotel’s cleaning is highly questionable. There are obvious stains on my bed ,pillow, and towel. I can understand the stains on the carpet, but these are things I cannot simply overlook.

We stayed at the Walden for a quick get away. The hotel was very clean and all staff were super nice. We only went to the breakfast 1 morning. The breakfast was just ok. It’s included with stay but it’s not as good as it was in years past and no omelette station. However, we will still return because cleanliness and price is top priority. We can get breakfast anywhere. We didn’t have time to swim but pool looked very clean and lots of rocking chairs outside with fire pit was nice.

It was very fun! They have an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor pool and hot tub. Great for staying multiple days. My family went to a bunch of activities, so we mostly just stayed here to sleep and put our stuff somewhere. Really awesome though. Lots of stuff close by, and the free breakfast is a great option. -Jasmyne!!!
