The food is always great but SO SO slow. 30+ minutes to cook a waffle.... At a waffle restaurant and this sadly is the norm every time I come here. This time was OVER AN HOUR for a waffle with Nutella. And then we were given no silverware to eat it with. The foods great but is it worth the wait? Sadly no.
While visiting EG after church we popped in on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and this place is pleasing to the eye as soon as you walk in. It has a modern rustic design with wood plank panels and a fun chalkboard with hand-drawn designs on the walls. Food here is excellent. I had the chicken fried steak with pork belly hash, such an amazing combo. Waffles were excellent as well, they could be eaten withou syrup they were so good. The only thing that was disappointing was when I asked for water the waitress was dismissive and said she had brought enough waters for the table. All I was looking for was some water to go along with my iced coffee and it seemed like a bigger issue than it needed to be. If that didn't occur, I'd be running back the following weekend for more.
