Very elegant and affordable ballroom located in downtown Raleigh. Could not have picked a better venue for my wedding reception!!
Wonderful place for a formal event. Accommodations were excellent.
It was very spacious great for entertainment and party's also we love the fact that it had a kitchen,to prepare the food we enjoy the old 60s feel the lights,the shandliers my sisters party was great I plan to have my 54 birthday party their myself one thing you have to allow the elderly people to use the elevators in that build not safe for them to walk the steps you could get sued that's my only concern so don't destroy the build fix it up .thanks
Had my daughters Sweet 16. Such an experience For my entire family and friends.

The VIrginia Dare Ballroom is one of the most elegant venues in Raleigh, NC! The historic ballroom can be dressed up in many creative ways. As the picture gallery shows past events that wow you, I have seen many others that rival these photos. You are only limited by your creativity. I've hosted holiday parties, family events and birthday parties there. The staff is helpful and respectful of clients needs. Highly recommend!
