Went here recently for an overnight trip in Winter Park. I was a little bit nervous after reading some bad reviews, but the hotel was great for all members of my party! The rooms were clean; and though the hotel is an older building, the rooms had a few modern-technology furnishings— (which was very nice). The only thing some of the negative reviews were right about was the hotel not having A/C. No A/C!!! This hotel does NOT have air conditioned rooms. Only 2/5 windows in our room opened (the rest were broken) so it was sweltering. They give you a cheap box fan which, if you’re like us, you have to point directly at your kids crib all night so they won’t overheat. At 10 pm it was still 80 degrees in the room. Overall, property needs major renovations. The small gondola over to the village was nice, but its operating hours are limited.
Clean hotel at a fair price located very close to WP’s lifts.
The Vintage Hotel’s location is within easy driving distance of all of Winter park and they have a shuttle service, but I did not use it so I cannot comment on it. The facility is dog-friendly and the staff are very upbeat and helpful. Services are limited and, if you are going in summer, be aware there is no air conditioning. The hotel provides a fan in the room.
Great service, very nice people. Just the perfect place to relax and admired our beautiful nature!!
