Positively enchanting! Love everything about the place from the beautiful grounds, bottle fountain and decor to the food which is positively and sinfully (like in cheesecake) delicious. Our waiter was a delight, too. Great family and friends atmosphere!
Pretty Setting and Amazing Food! Seriously, I've never had a better meal in all my life. We were seated promptly at 7:30 (had made a reservation), and our waitress, Kelli, was super nice and had great suggestions for food and wine. We walked around the place after dinner and I was amazed how much it felt like Napa Valley (only hotter, thank you Texas!). My hubby had the chocolate cake for dessert and I had the cheesecake (yes, we like our sweets!) and they were SOOO good! We'll go back!
Disappointed The first lunch at the Vineyards came with poor service and a mixup by the waitress on the price of a bottle of bubbly. We decided to give it one more try, hoping that this would be a memorable meal for my wife's mother's birthday. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The service was again poor. The Vineyards Restaurant - AMAZING! A friend told my husband about this place and it is MAGICAL. The service, FOOD, and romantic atmosphere really impressed us (I mean, where else can you dine in San Antonio overlooking a real vineyard?). As a surprise, my husband also reserved a table for us amongst the rows of vines for our dessert, and we followed this candlelit path to our very own private table under the stars!
