Room was beautiful and updated. We stayed on the 1sr floor which was amazing after a park day.
Good stay, the resort is still under heavy construction, and dining is a bit overpriced. Transit from the resort is a huge pain for anything aside MK. Epcot is doable with the monorail. For DHS and AK you must take a bus, and the bus stops at the Polynesian as well, resulting in absolutely full buses, and delays. For being a deluxe high end resort, this was rather disappointing.

The Grand Floridian is a great place to stay. Friendly people, clean rooms, and a great location on the monorail. The only complaint would be the food at the Gasparilla Island Grill. It was just not good at all. The same food items from the pools, other resorts, and the parks were terrific. Even room service was wonderful. Not sure why the food at the Gasparilla was so bad, but that would be the ONLY complaint. Everything else was absolutely amazing.
