Grand Floridan is a beautiful hotel and the location is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay! My only complaint is most rooms are not ready by 4, we were told the cleaning staff was behind. That is unacceptable for a resort that costs $1000 on average per night.
Price doesn’t meet expectations. Very boring atmosphere. Door locks were broken to the bathrooms. Blankets were too thin. Other Deluxe resorts serve your quick service meals to your table. Ferry was down. More signs for directions would be great. I also think you don’t get much for the price - maybe a stocked fridge and small snacks. We did have a great view of fireworks and we liked the transportation options. This is our one and done stay at this resort.
Room was very nice and conveniently located. Grounds of property beautiful. Meaningful issues with baggage/bell services, room cleanliness, housekeeping and communication within and between departments. Happy to chat Disney if you would like more details.
