It's been a little bit since we've been back to VTT, but we thought we would give it another try. On a Monday night, we were in early enough to get a great table--that view is spectacular. We had such a great last night of our vacation at this spot. There was tasteful live music, the drinks and food were incredible (We had the meatloaf and the fish fry), and our server was very helpful. We wish we would have found it sooner!
Secured a last minute reservation and had fantastic service. The fish fry was great and wait staff was very friendly. Strong drinks from the downstairs bar were a bonus!
The food here is OUTSTANDING! I ordered the steak and frites and would highly recommend them. The steak was absolutely mouthwatering. Our waitress was very friendly, but we waited almost an hour between ordering our food and when it arrived. The restaurant is casual with an upscale feeling to it.
I rarely write reviews unless my experience was exceptional or awful. In this case, my experience was awful. This restaurant was one of my favorites. However, that is no longer the case. After spending $400 on dinner, I was approached by the manager and told we needed to get up from our table. This is the first time I’ve had this happen at any restaurant, let alone one I go to frequently. Frequently enough that the wait staff remembers my order.
