My wife and I lived at The Village Apartments in Rexburg from January 2019 to July 2025. We had a very rough experience. During our time there, we experienced what we believe were two incidents of carbon monoxide (CO) exposure. We did report issues and asked them to fix it, and a technician later told us the CO levels were dangerous. We also went without hot water for about a month while they attempted to replace a broken water heater (which we also requested be repaired). I miss the residents severally, such amazing people and I can not understate that... Previous and current upper management, now located in Boise and Meridian, seem to have not fixed the ongoing issues, especially concerning the maintenance system due to a very specific previous employee that was more concerned with receiving positive reviews to said upper management and Google to continue his neglectful behaviors towards the property and tenants. Management is great and the maintenance team is super attentive and on top of work orders! When we first went to apply for an apartment, Katherine was super attentive and helpful and made sure that we were able to complete the application process thoroughly. When we went on the tour, we told her what we were looking for and she got us exactly that! We are so happy with our apartment and all the great amenities it has to offer! They add on fee after fee after fee. The cheap rent isn’t actually cheap. Ended up voiding my contract before moving in because of unhelpful and extremely difficult managers. Would not recommend.
Love it here! We have lived here for almost a year and have not had any issues. Maintenance is quick to respond and fix any little problems, and we love our place! Would definitely recommend the Village.
