I recently stayed at The Whitlock in Lenox, Massachusetts. Overall, my experience was okay, but there were a few notable issues that impacted my stay. The inn itself is charming and well-located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, the Continental breakfast was extremely lackluster. They ran out of plates, silverware, and coffee, which was quite disappointing. You're on your own. Beautiful old property. Sparse rooms. Rugs need cleaning. No water or cups in the room Service is non existing after hours. Staff leaves at night. Can't get extra towels or a plastic cup. Coffee room was totally depleted. Front doors of hotel are left open for anyone to enter. Met very drunk woman in entrance asking me if I could get her into the bar at midnight. No wifi password, no response to a call for support and no response to a text asking for support. I'll be staying elsewhere if ever in Lennox and looking for lodging. Will be sure to share my experience on social media. Phone system is impersonal with no way to talk to a human, voice mail was not retured. The shower was broken as well and sprayed water all over the shower stall, seemed like it was run like a cheap hotel than an Inn.
