Great homemade Eastern European food, pleasant low key ambience. Small place in strip mall, not fine dining but tasty and down to earth like a good borscht.
What a gem! Delicious, homemade comfort food at its finest.
This place is a hidden gem of San Diego! The food is very good, with bright, fresh flavors and hearty ingredients. The room decor is adorably homey with lots of chachkies displayed. Even the service, plates and utensils are like those you might expect to find in a private home. The staff are all very friendly and treat you like family as well. I highly recommend this place! But if you want to try dessert you should just go there for dessert because otherwise you might not have room for it!
Wonderful food. Nice, sweet waitstaff. I wish it was closer.
The food was delicious. The wait was a little long but the food was made fresh...will visit there again when I go back to CA.
Very good food...always pleased with the service. We recommend you check out this place. Small seating area but nicely decorated.
This is a great little mom and pop restraunt. They have wonderfully tasting Russian and Ukrainian food and in huge filling portions. The decor is like it was someone's home, very rustic, yet cozy with a touch of elegance (tea kettles). It is quiet, quaint, warm and inviting. I encourage everyone to try something new...you will love the borscht and pelmeni!
