We recently moved into this apartment community, and I couldn’t be happier! A friend recommended this place to us, and both of us received a $500 referral reward — that was such a nice surprise. The Village at Southgate is a terrible place to live. They do not care about the tenants only their money. They increased our rent despite our building having a fire months prior and our laundry room not working. They took away the singing bonus from their lease , they came to our apartment multiple times without prior notice and when we finally moved out they hit us with bogus charges and lied about how much my security deposit was so they could charge me even more. Terrible place that's getting worse every year.
