A shame to have such a common place amongst a sea of unique establishments. The noise level was absurd with an open space that includes a loft bowling alley!! Large TV screens everywhere. Even above tables. The food is mediocre, at best. It felt like we were in the Deep South in a fancier Denny’s. Staff was great though.
We hosted a private event upstairs and couldn’t be happier with the venue and staff. Megan, our server, was absolutely amazing to work with. We had ages 17 to 81 and everyone was entertained with the bowling, shuffle board and they mad March Madness on the TV’s. I will definitely be recommending The Victor Tavern to friends and family!
My wife saw this place on social media where they were advertising their "after 9PM specials". Cool, oh wait... they close at 10. So, we arrive and the bartender comes over and explains that they have done away with the tipping system, they automatically tack on 20%. OK, whatever. We have to ask for the after 9 menu, despite it being after 9 and they clearly want it to drum up business by advertising it. So, 9 dollar burgers, sandwiches, etc...but no sides. Updating my review as they made an effort to make the (previous) situation right. I appreciate their comp. And, food is fantastic and the service is great (even though I order out) - please try ! The salmon Caesar is delicious. The dressing is on point. The cook of the salmon is perfect. Their burgers are amazing. Flavors are cravable.
I got the Jalapeño business burger. It was juicy and had great flavor. They did the Jalapeños on the side for me because I was nervous about the spice level. It was a great burger. Fries were a bit crunchy and nothing super spectacular. My friends said their meals were cold. Service was nice and polite, not exceptional though. The restaurant is very sleekly decorated and was clean. Seemed a bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion.
