These two women Danette and Yolanda Mason who manage this property are the worst ever. Don’t fall for their fake personas-their true selves come out when you want your deposit back.
I have lived at The Ventana for three years and just signed my lease renewal. I would encourage anyone looking for a Westside rental to look here. The units are larger and better appointed than most other properties. Some may consider it expensive although to me it is an excellent value because of all the amenities offered. The neighbors are pleasant and the staff is terrific. They are friendly, efficient and effective. I take my hat off to them, it is no small thing to manage a large property.
I have been there for about two years. During this time: Elevators did not work for months No sound proof walls, i could hear every step of my neighbors The garage was always spilled with water Dog poops everywhere in the park The parking spaces are so narrow, i hardly can park All appliances are outdated, especially washer/dryer Ceiling water leaks when it rains (twice this year) Well, does it sound luxury? Poor management at least. Mysty (see her post below) moved out this month to the Villas.
Great Responsive Front Office! Good Up keep of the grounds. New Manager, is wonderful, she decorates the building so festive. Love living here, you will too, worth every dime.
I lived at The Ventana for four years. I loved the upgraded kitchens and floors, huge gym, and pool!! The Playa Vista community is so beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful setting, luxury apartment and incredible amenities, this is the place!!
Just a lovely place with views of the wetlands and ocean. The neighborhood is trendy and growing with great eateries, and minutes from Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
It was nice when it first opened, then poor management and unfixed security entrances allowed for over 10 break ins, home robberies and even water leaks on the 4th floor when it rained. We had to move for fear of home robberies.
