i've come here a couple times and every time hits the spot! came last night and decided to finally leave a review! lovely place in wausau, great views of the town and the decoration inside is cute. service was great. host was friendly, chatted with us a bit as we went to the table, and our server was polite and told us lots about the menu. i forgot her name though!!! she gave us some recommendations which were nice even though we've eaten here before! food was delicious! salmon was tasty, super soft and such a good taste. ch... read more
Our first visit to Velveteen Plum was wonderful! The moment we walked in, the aroma of the food was incredibly inviting and made us excited to try the menu. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Great vibes and awesome rooftop patio. Nice selection of drinks and good food. Its in an apartment building so parking can be confusing.

We hosted a wedding shower for my son and soon to be daughter in law. Everything was absolutely top notch. The staff were great to work with and the event was a great success.
