This is a very cute spot. Our barista was friendly as can be and very patient in answering questions and waiting for us all to make choices! They have a lovely selection of interesting and very natural syrups. We were just passing by the town, but will likely stop again sometime as it is just a quick hop off the highway.

What a lovely gem!! Worth the drive from Bloomington to support a cute local coffee shop with good people. Got some good recommendations from the staff, and the lotus drink was delicious. They also have pastries from a bakery of the week. The prices were very reasonable for everything! Lots of cute seats, love the "velveteen" theme for book lovers. They have a free library, and they are hosting a local author event which is just the coolest!
My husband and I absolutely love The Velveteen Coffee Company! The coffee is amazing and the service is very friendly! I would however, like to see them eventually add a convection oven for fresh baked muffins, cookies and coffee cake.
