Had the most uncanning experience at check in with an assistant name Cici who did her very best to convince me not to stay at the Vanderbilt. I took her advice and canceled. Saved about $700 going to another hotel. If you’re a manager, check the interaction on May 4 2026 between 7:09 and 7:13 pm. Im sure I’m not the first person who’s experienced a similar interaction.
We had a fantastic stay at the Vanderbilt, but the standout moment was the checkout process. CC handled everything with such grace and efficiency. It’s rare to find staff who is that personable. She is a true asset to the team, and we’ll definitely be back!
Don’t be misled by the name or the polished photos online. The walls are extremely thin—you can hear every conversation from neighboring rooms, which makes it feel like you’re sharing the same space. The noise continued well past midnight, and when I brought it to the front desk’s attention, the response was dismissive and unhelpful, essentially saying it wasn’t their problem.
