I went to see Dr. Kim for menopausal systems as she is the menopausal specialist at Valley. Lack of sleep biggest complaint. She asked me if i exercise. I let her know I walk. She let me know that walking is an old lady exercise. Then tried to bring me down more....just what a menopausal women needs. After some word exchanges, she did change her attitude but i do not see a doctor to have an argument. She didn't look at my chart from what I saw or want to take any tests. Always gives personal care. She is up to date on what is happening with you. You never feel like a number. And you never feel rushed. You know that she is working to keep you at your best.
VMG is usually good. However, it isn’t easy to get an appointment. Even when you make an appointment online for “Walk In”. I brought my son at 6:00 PM and was told when we got there, no doctor was on for “Walk In Care”. That is ridiculous, I guess “walk ins” aren’t welcome. With that whoever answers the phone at times is very unprofessional. Basically some people will argue with you which is not very helpful when you’re not feeling well. Waste of time. Only MRI's and X-rays. All they do is ask for more of the same imaging at Valley. All they do is prescribe physical therapy.
If there was an option to highlight a quarter star, I would choose that option. This has been one of the most disgusting experience for me. It started years ago with one Dr. (Dr. Cobin) that retired. OK, Once this Dr. retired, another Dr. (Dr. Boyd) took care of my benign tumor (after my surgery). This benign tumor needed care with two shots given to me once a month. The staff at VMG Endo. is nasty. it starts with the secretary that picks up the phone and sounds annoyed, to the nurses. Confidentiality is not kept within... read more
Dr Bertola was great I was a walk in patient an unsure how it would be I alway have an appointment with Dr Howe . was there on Friday afternoon the wait was not bad , she is pleasant ,personable. Made u feel at ease . She handled my problem a the spot gave me a script a some suggestions what to do to ease the problem thank you Dr Bettina. Ann
