Everything.....I have an interesting story to tell you... When I was 16 yrs old I had my first date with my new boyfriend, Bruno Masdea. He was 18 n we went to the Valley Dale for a high school dance. I will try to make this short because after our first date, amazing things happened in our lives.We fell in love, n married in 1952. He was sent to Korea for one year. He returned Valentines Day, 1953. The happiest day of my life! He played the trumpet n always had a great love of big band music. The owner was absolutely amazing, the venue was astonishing, and the parking space is spacious. They worked with our 501c3 and offered sponsorship and really wanted to help animals in need. The price is completely unbeatable for everything you receive. I would highly recommend for any event!
I hadn’t been to the Valley Dale Ballroom in decades , and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. Very cool lighting, very clean, and spacious. The remodeling kept the historic feel with an updated aura. The new owners seem very vested in the long term success - not the average investor seeking a quick buck. They really believe in bringing back the grandeur of the location for a new generation. I plan on following and attending more events here.
My first visit last night for Bobby Floyd’s MoTown Review- what an impressive venue! The staff and volunteers were great and you can’t beat the historic vibe! I’ll be back often.
