Loved this practice years ago when I had several issues and saw Julie Spencer. This past year this practice has gone massively down hill. You can never reach anyone on the phone line and those that answer the phone don't actually appear to be in the office...seems to be a call center. You will sit on hold FOREVER. My mom wanted my dad seen here since I had such good things to say about them in the past. She literally had to go to the office to make the appt because no one answers the phone. Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Spend hours on the nurse line to no avail. And leaving a callback number is useless. Dr. Lester was great during surgery on my husband, but now it's impossible to reach him. Or anyone.
I appreciate Dr. Amanda Smart - her professionalism and quality of care, when you finally have the chance to see and speak with her because getting to that point is a daunting task. The website is horrible. The 'Request an Appointment' icon takes you to the provider bio, but you can't schedule an appointment. The phone system always has connection issues and the staff seems clueless. I don't like to say this but it's what I have experienced.
This is the most ridiculous practice I have dealt with. Nobody answers the phone. We have tried calling the nurses line twice. Someone did call back and left a message with a number no one answers. We have used the patient portal with no response and emailed the surgery scheduling line as well. It’s unfortunate because Dr Smart is great. The office sucks and they keep using we have a new system or we are short staffed. If you are that short staffed why do they take 1.5 hours for lunch.
