This place absolutely horrid. They do not feed the patients, speak and talk down to them, and treat them like animals. They either pump you full of medication, or nothing at all. Never have witnessed such unprofessionalism and cruelty towards humans who are seeking mental health servicces in a time of crisis. The nurses think they run the facility and think they should be obeyed. They curse out patients, yell at them, and even make them cry. I was petitioned and they treat you like criminals. The staff was mean. The doctor was very sweet but the staff could be better. My case manager was amazing but overall a traumatizing experience.

Ok they're open 24/7 they give 100% to make sure you are " process of getting into the mental health program "is done with care and max respect. The staffing are simply amazing.

THERE ARE MANY NURSES AT THIS PLACE, BUT ONE IN PARTICULAR STOOD OUT FOR THE WRONG REASONS. SHE IDENTIFIED HERSELF AS AFRICAN AND WAS YELLING, THROWING THINGS, AND COMPLAINING LOUDLY ABOUT HER JOB WHILE ON THE CLOCK. HER BEHAVIOR WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE. I GET IT—PEOPLE ARE HUMAN AND CAN MAKE MISTAKES—BUT HAVING A MELTDOWN AT THE WORKSTATION IN A MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY IS BEYOND ME. MAYBE IT’S TIME TO GO BACK HOME! Had someone admitted here and spoke to a caseworker with box braids. We had a conversation about getting the person released. She said she would speak to the provider and call me 5 minutes later. About 15 minutes later she calls me to tell me they will be discharged today and to give them 30 minutes to have them discharged. I wait an hour to get a call saying that they actually would not get discharged today.
