These guys are great! I'm building a mud room 9' bench/cabinet/locker and I didn’t want to use stacked plywood for the bench. The Urban Craftman set me up with a 9'x2' solid maple piece. They sanded and varnished it to perfection. I also had a 3'x5' live edge maple slab sitting in my garage for a couple years as I put off sanding and varnishing it. I highly recommend The Urban Craftsman. It is such a great local business. Not only are Nick and Andy friendly and easy to work with, they are also terrific craftsmen. I was a little hesitant to reach out to them to have a coffee table recreated, because I thought it was probably going to be too expensive to have custom work done. I was wrong. The project cost was about the same as purchasing a comparable piece from a mass retailer. But it was done much more quickly and using much nicer wood. Plus, I love the idea that they ... read more

I’m a magician and had a unique project. They were able to accommodate, very helpful, and great product! Would recommend
