Awesome tower with a great view, loads of tradition, and a whole lot of history
Forty acres. That was a difficult campus to tour. My mom and I struggled (I'm in my fifties and my mom is in her seventies.) It's in Austin so it's super liberal and surrounded by super liberal themed businesses. If that's your thing, this is your school. If you lean towards the middle or right, go visit A&M. My best friend from my childhood went here and Cockrell college of engineering is here. However, we didn't feel as welcome at UT as we did at the other schools we visited.
