RecommendedI recommend KU because they are the very best at what they do and they do it with care and compassion. I was in the hospital there for a week with pulmonary embolisms and from the instant the ambulance arrived i was treated with nothing compassion and a sense of urgency. The ER doctor's were very capable and they saved my life, once i got to my room on the 6th floor the staff was so very kind and knowledgeable. My niece was a admitted to the KU emergency room last night with grandmal seizures .A nurse tried to attend to her during one of her seizures and accused her of assualt as she was tried to take her vitals. The nurse then called the police when my niece was having a seizure. They insisted that she was on drugs . They kept asking what drugs was she taking. when in fact the report came back on her blood work no drugs, but my niece has a citation for assult on a nurse in the ER. First this is racial profiling.
