I've had the best experiences with the whole KU system! From extended stays in the hospital to the treatment centers in Overland Park and Lee's Summit .... awesome doctors and staff wherever I go!! I would highly recommend KU to anyone that needs medical care!
I was treated with expertise and compassion. I would recommend it highly.
Hi I’m Ricky #5 in the Ku Health System New Heart Transplant Program. And after 15 Months of Receiving my Gift 💝 of Life. I went into Full Rejection and they were force to use what they call the Atomic Bomb + Plus on My Immune System which took a beating to bring me back to health 👍 And it sent me from Heaven and Back. I find it hard to believe that they did all that and not destroy any other Organs in the process (🙏) I would Love to let KU Know how Grateful and Appreciative I am for all the Skills and Dedication that the... read more
Excellent care, nice people who treat you as a person.
We are so very thankful we found Dr. Brian Andrews and Dr. Paul Camarata to work with our son Kalib, whom was diagnosed with sagittal synostosis at birth. Dr. Andrews is an expert in craniofacial surgery and has dedicated much of his career researching craniosynostosis and perfecting surgery/treatment. Dr. Camarata came highly recommend from Andrews as well as friends & acquaintances. Also, our PICU nurses were so professional and loving when they cared for Kalib - very knowledgeable, reasuring and helpful.
I want to give a shout out to the ICU unit 61; they were absolutely amazing. They did everything in their power to help my grandma. They gave her top notch care and comfort. The nurses, doctors, respiratory therapist were wonderful. Words cannot put forth the appreciation. Love always Buck’s, Youtsey’s, and Estes’s
All my doctors are there.

The coordination of care is terrible. Every medical specialty and resource may be available but if those individuals do not communicate with each other and work together, the care and treatment goes nowhere and the patient & family end up b... read more
