2.5 stars if i could, they're only able to handle very simple stuff. They did find my Hashimoto's disease and were receptive with my prescription, other than constantly sending it to the wrong pharmacy. Asked for a gentle exercise plan to help manage my chronic pain and fatigue, was told to watch youtube yoga videos. Dr. Oakland is kind but her English is not good enough to hash out symptoms when the patient doesn't already know what's going on. The nursing assistants and blood draw staff are very nice though.
psychiatry is fine, +most of the staff have been generally friendly, but I've gone in maybe 5 times in my time as a uofi student trying to get someone to take my chronic pain seriously. meds don't work and I've been using a cane for over a year and the doctors just look at me and tell me to lose weight. except for doctor woodward. he treated me like I was hysterical and unreasonable for wanting a second opinion. walked out of that appointment sobbing my eyes out with a $5 Java House gift card given by a sympathetic staff mem... read more
