It was extremely quiet. Had a continental breakfast and the location was good. The bed was very comfortable. We were staying for several days and did not want to spend an arm and a leg on a hotel.
The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is provided. Bowls, forks, knives are provided for dining in the room. There is a Trader Joe's in walking distance so I can easily get food there.
We loved the old school charm of The University Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful and our room was very comfortable, clean and inviting. There is a complementary continental breakfast included with the extremely reasonable room rate. We were very pleased with the Inn and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.
Really nice update to the Inn! Definitely recommend visiting here when taking a trip to Michigan. Good wifi which was new. Great value for the location. 20 min walk to campus with easy access to public transport.
Our stay at the Inn was very nice. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The bathroom was outdated and only had a shower, not ideal for little ones, but worked just fine. Staff was courteous and tried to accommodate how they could. Breakfast was not anything special, but filled our bellies! We will be coming back when we visit family.
We stayed here 4 nights in July while visiting our daughter, who was at U of M for a summer research position. The location is wonderful, very close to the college in a very nice neighborhood. We reserved a standard room but were upgraded to a room with a kitchenette for free. The room was very clean, only complaint is it felt/smelled a little damp (maybe an upstairs room would have been better, it wasn't bad enough for us to request a new room). The staff was friendly and overall we were very pleased!
This hotel was a great find to stay the night in Ann Arbor. Locally owned.
Very nice staff, rooms are comfortable, bathrooms very nice, air was a little loud. Would recommend for a night or a few.
The room was clean.
