It was very interesting. I loved seeing the turtles close up and hearing their stories. These people are doing wonderful work and you can tell they care about what they do. It was a fairly short presentation so it didn't get a chance to get boring Now were we in the heat longer than we could enjoy.
We visited in February and just fell in love with the turtles and were so touched by their work we adopted Montel! How wonderful that they invite the public into their hospital. While visiting, be respectful of the rules and expect a slight delay in tour as staff and interns need to care for turtles regardless of visitors. They are first and foremost a hospital for sick and injured sea turtles, not an aquarium/entertainment venue.
It's so educational and very helpful in the saving of such a beautiful creature.
Great spot worth the visit. Been going to the keys for 40 years and am here with families with kids so I went. Really enjoyed the tour. Bubble butts are especially cute.
This is a must see! My 6 and 8 year old boys were captivated! Great presentation!
