As a previous resident, I can confidently give this community 1 star. And that start is simply b/c of the maintenance team when I was living there (2018-2023). Terrible management company, office staff was rude, incompetent, and lacked basic human decency. They have no compassion for their residents. Never hosted any resident events or parties, all they cared about was getting their rent money. This place is impossible to communicate and deal with. I lived there 5 years and when I moved out I waited and got a bill which I sent a check in full for and they still turned it to a collection company saying they don't take checks .... I paid the collection company and I still don't have my check returned from them. Totally unprofessional.
Nice place, loved the location, but… heads up to any avid cyclists: Bicycles are deemed vehicles and must be stored outside. I don’t buy cheap ones, so, not for me.
Honestly, the trails were my emergency housing option & for that I'm thankful. I got 1 guy that's off the charts confrontationlly creeper & watches every move & reports me on anything, obviously he's the definition of Caucasian American always yelling his going to report me. Then I got 1 mixed-ablities lady that has nothing else to do but watch me I guess. In my opinion the apartment is an overpriced hotel room & can't wait to end my lease. I wanted to share an experience my family had at the clubhouse at The Trails in Derby during a family birthday party. My son has autism and sometimes elopes, which means he doesn’t always stay in one room or area. We were told everyone had to remain inside the clubhouse. When my son wandered outside, we were told he couldn’t be out there because it was a “place of business.” What confused me was that there were no customers coming in, and an employee appeared to be sitting there watching the MLB game.
