I bought a wood burning stove from The Trading Post several years ago. I had a Home Inspector look for the Permit for it and was told by the Building Dept. of my town that they never applied for one to do the work!!!! When I contacted them, they said there was a statement on the back of the Invoice that says "It is required by "State/Municipal Law" they don't get Permits - it up to the Homeowner. I have just bought a pellet stove insert from the Trading Post. It was installed and during the first week it developed a very loud and obnoxious sound when starting. I contacted them for a service call. They came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered a new part and left. Upon their return with the new part, they quickly and efficiently repaired the problem.
