Do NOT move here. I’ve lived in the North Tower since December, they had a flood in the first month damaging the 4th floor and affecting all units below. Further it’s damaged the ONLY elevator that’s connected to the emergency generator. So not only do 2/3 elevators work when the power goes out no one has elevator access to their units. Not to mention they lock out a 2nd elevator when people move out/in leaving a single elevator for 34 floors. Oh and the $200 move in/out fee. AWM Strata management is terrible, Even though the building is the brand new, it is water damaged caused by construction defeat. They just pushed to move residents out without any procedures. The problem comes the defeat, they just keep withdrawaling the Strata fee even if no one lives there while fixing the issue. No cover any, no take responsibility caused by the damage. Does the damage come from me? No!, I am taking all responsibility, ridiculous!
It’s really frustrating dealing with this strata. The building was newly built in November 2024, but now there’s flooding in the hallway on the 4th floor, which has caused issues inside the units as well. They’re asking me to vacate the apartment quickly, saying it will take one to two months to resolve, which is hard to understand given that the building is so new.
