Update: After I posted this review on 9/3, Dr. Eide suddenly sent me the clinical summaries on 9/7 from our appointment without saying a word. Just the automated, “It was a pleasure seeing you and [Dog Name]! Please find attached the clinical summary for [Dog Name].” I’ve emailed again on 9/5 and 9/7. Still, no one from Total Canine has answered me in 36 days. No refund, no reason, no attempt to fix this, not even a cursory apology. I’m not one to leave a negative review on a business as I know one experience can just be a mistake and everyone will have one customer they let down sometimes. But I’m not sure what else to do at this point. I was super excited to work with such a well respected sports vet and hopefully finally get my dog some relief for the very serious pain he’s in. If you are in Washington and your dog has been diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), book immediately with Dr. Leslie Eide. She has been treating my corgi’s DM for a few months, and I can easily declare she has changed the course of this disease for us. My corgi was first misdiagnosed with “degenerative myeloplasty,” which doesn’t even exist. I got a second opinion confirming she had degenerative myelopathy.
