An absolute disgrace — this hotel should not be part of the Hyatt group!!! I checked in today at The Time New York by Hyatt, expecting a high level of service and quality. What I found instead was unacceptable. As I began unpacking, I saw a huge cockroach crawling on the wall. I looked around and realized the room was filthy — floors, furniture, bathroom. small boutique hotel, fantastic location in the middle of NY
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully maintained—clean, modern, and very comfortable. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. A special shoutout to Guest Service Agent Nilika Singh and Guest Service Manager Doria Lee (Dee) for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Great staff, convenient location. Hotel definitely prioritized style over use. TV behind a one way mirror, useless if a single light is turned on, but that might not be a problem since they can't correctly wire a three way switch. And if you do manage to turn on a light, you will find them pretty, but near useless for providing actual light.
